Baking is one of the healthier methods for food preparation, even though what we bake isn’t always the healthiest. You purchase all your supplies for your baking frenzy, produce something delicious, (or maybe not so delicious) and are left with a bunch of pans so dirty that you don’t even recognize them anymore.
But shining pans don’t have to be a fond memory, or a fleeting moment in time. You can return your baking sheets to their former glory, and all without scrubbing the skin off your fingers. Intrigued? Here are two easy ways to clean your baking sheets.
Method One: Baking Soda
Get a small glass bowl and put a quarter cup of baking soda in it. Then, spritz some hydrogen peroxide on the baking soda and mix it up until you get a nice paste. Alternatively, you can use vinegar.
Apply the paste to stubborn stains and let it sit for a bit. Then, return to your project and give your baking sheets a good scrub with a steel wool scrubber.
Method Two: Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap With Tea Tree Oil
No concoction-mixing for this method. Simply purchase Dr. Bronners Magic Soap With Tea Tree Oil, spray your baking pans with it, and scrub with a steel wool scrubber. This product has great reviews and can be found in health food stores, as well as some drug stores and supermarkets.
