Going to Disneyland tends to bring out the inner child in all of us. Whether it be through the variety of rides and attractions, or just getting to see your favorite childhood Disney characters, it allows us to relive the early years of our childhood.
As it turns out, the place has the same effect on members of other species! Just watch this video of a dog going crazy after meeting his idol, Pluto, on a trip to Disneyland.
Ace, the yellow lab and the star of the above video (which currently has over 20 million views on Facebook) was a service dog in training during the time that the video was shot. He was on a trip to the California theme park as part of his socialization training with his trainer, Sandy Steinblums, where they went on several of the safer and slower rides as part of his training.
After they were finished on the rides, Ace spotted the famous Disney dog and the two shared an adorable meet and greet, while Ace’s trainer tried to get him to calm down and stick to his training (which he eventually did, albeit reluctantly).

“This was a training outing and I was too far back to do a proper correction,” Steinblums commented on the original Facebook post. “But golly-be…he responded anyway. Yep! That is my boy and I am proud of him and love the Disney characters for being so kind and helpful.”
At the time the video was taken, Ace still had nine more months of training before he would become an official guide dog, which provided him with plenty of time to get over his impulsive behavior. However, nobody could blame him for taking a break to play with the cartoon celebrity, and I know that we’re all glad he did!
