Here’s a list of 7 foods you should never eat:
1. White bread and other refined flours
All white breads and refined flours such as crackers, cereals and baked goods are toxic to your body because they have been stripped of their natural vitamins, minerals and fiber. When you ingest substances that have no redeeming qualities (except for their taste we must admit), then you are tricking your body. Your body has no idea how to process and digest these “foods.” Often there is also bleach in white bread products, such as chlorine, brominated and bromide.
Many people think they’re making the right choice when they buy margarine instead of real butter, however margarine is full of hydrogenated trans-fat oil. The saturated fats found in real butter are not harmful to your health if consumed in moderation. When you buy butter, from animals that are pastured, and grass-fed. If butter isn’t your thing, stick to organic olive oil or coconut oil.
3. Frozen “meals”
Conventionally wrapped frozen meals are jam packed with harmful ingredients and preservatives. Processed salts, hydrogenated oils and artificial flavouring are among the toxins present in microwavable frozen meals. Not to mention, the meat found in these meals are full of hormones and the wheat will most likely all be GMO products.
4. Cured meat
Any deli meats, sausage, hot dogs, and bacon are injected with nitrates and nitrites, which are linked to heart disease and various kinds of cancers. When you buy meat, avoid cured meats, or at the very least, nitrate-free varieties, organic providers and grass-fed animals.
5. Energy and protein bars
Usually protein and energy bars are advertised as a healthy addition to your daily diet, however they contain refined sugars, hydrogenated fat, processed soy and processed proteins.
The “diet” trend of the 20th century is possibly one of the largest scams in the global food market. These “diet” products contain artificial sweeteners, which are linked to causing gastrointestinal problems, and neurological disorders. In the process of making these products “diet” they are stripped of their natural nutrients and instead pumped full of artificial sweeteners, flavors, and colors.
