These salts have anti-inflammatory properties so when you take a bath with epsom salts, your eczema flair ups with reduce significantly. Make sure the water in your bath is warm, not hot! Hot water will just dry out your skin more, which will make your eczema worse.
4. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera straight from the leaf is one of the most natural eczema remedies. With its anti-inflammatory properties and antimicrobial agents, aloe vera will soothe your skin, decrease redness and swelling, as well as eliminate bacteria that could be worsening your troubled areas.
5. Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is rich in vitamin E and lauric acid, which makes it ideal for mending cracked, dry, red skin. Apply coconut oil 2-3 times per day or eat it with your meals! Both oral and topical coconut oil can heal your skin, by soothing it on the outside and providing your skin with essential nutrients from the inside out.
