After a long, hot day spent outside, who doesn’t love a refreshing glass of lemonade? It’s one of those classic drinks that no matter what time of year has you dreaming of lounging poolside, sunning yourself on the beach, or having a family picnic in the park. The downside? Most lemonade is full of refined sugar, and store bought brands can often have chemicals and additives that you definitely don’t want to put in your body.
Thankfully, with a few simple tweaks it’s easy to turn lemonade into a healthy, natural drink that’s not only refreshing but also can act as an antibiotic!
Oregano Oil: Nature’s Best Antibiotic
Oregano oil is one of mother nature’s most potent and effective antibiotics. It has the powerful ability to fight fungus, parasites, bacteria, colds and sinus infections. The issue? The taste is overwhelming, and needs to be diluted to make it both palatable and safe for use. (1, 2)
That’s where this deliciously simple lemonade recipe comes in! Sweetened with raw honey instead of sugar, adding a few drops of oregano oil to your lemonade will naturally take care of any parasitic bacteria hanging around in your GI tract and have you feeling incredible in no time.
