Can more sex – with more women – be good for men’s health? One study suggests it might be.
Take It Up A Notch. Or 20.
Of course being an eager-beaver isn’t good for your health or hubris, and any unprotected sex can lead to a number of unwanted surprises, but a study conducted by a team at the University of Montreal may prove that the notches in a man’s bedpost can cut into his chances of getting prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer for men to contract. So how do you fight it?
Sleep more. Well, sleep with more women
And Good Things Will Come
The study shows that men who have slept with more than 20 women reduce their chances of getting prostate cancer by 28%. The study has concluded that not solely ejaculation, but sex, will help fight prostate cancer.
And not just any sex – it has to be sex with multiple women. The study shows that men who have had more than 20 male partners double the risk of getting prostate cancer. And the same is true with celibates.
The Montréal-based study surveyed over 3200 men about their sex lives. Roughly half were diagnosed with prostate cancer, with the other half used as a control. Because of the openness of the respondents, better and more sound conclusions were reached.
This is the first study to promote sex with more women, instead of just more sex or masturbation. Ejaculating helps flush out cancer causing chemicals found in the prostate, and the link between sex and ejaculating is fairly strong. Like, Strong-Like-Bull.
Puns Fully Intended
Now, researchers and public health authorities aren’t yet at the level of promoting promiscuity. That’d be a big, ten-inch stretch. Going from love and safe sex to positive-promiscuity would be like going six-to-midnight, making it a rather flaccid point.
