Third Gigantic Metal Monolith Has Now Appeared In California

In a series of events that has puzzled the world, the saga of the metal monolith continues. This time, the mysterious structure has reappeared in California. The question is, how long will it stick around this time?

The Metal Monolith: A Timeline

In just a few weeks, the story of the mysterious metal monolith has captured the attention of people around the world. Many people have theorized about its origins (many of these theories referencing aliens), but no one has solved the puzzle.

Here is the most updated timeline of events:

November 18, 2020: state employees in Utah discover a shiny metal monolith in a remote part of the wilderness while counting sheep from a helicopter.

November 20, 2020: Internet sleuths determine the exact location of the monolith, and enthusiasts travel by the dozens to the site to see it for themselves.

November 28, 2020: The metal monolith disappears from the site in Utah. Another, similar structure appears on a hill in Romania.

December 1, 2020: The monolith disappears from the hillside in Romania.

Since then, the world has waited (or hoped?) to see if the mysterious object will reappear somewhere else. Where will it be? Will we finally find out who is behind the structures?

The Metal Monolith Reappears in California

The world was not disappointed when a third monolith appeared on wednesday, December 2. This time at the top of a mountain in California.

The structure is now sitting at the top of Pine Mountain, outside the small town of Atascadero, San Luis Obispo County, in central California. According to reports, it stands about ten feet tall and eighteen inches wide. The metal monolith is made of stainless steel, and weighs approximately two hundred pounds.

The only noticeable difference between this monolith and the original one in Utah is that this one does not appear to be firmly in the ground. Local media reports say that it looks as though you could easily knock it over [1].

Still No Answers

This is the third metal monolith to appear in the span of twenty days, and still no one seems to know its origins or purpose. While many have speculated that it could be part of some elaborate art installation, no artist has stepped forward to claim responsibility.

For now, the metal monolith remains the great mystery of 2020. This third installation, however, now has all of us on our toes. How long will it stick around? If it disappears, when and where will it appear again?

One thing is for sure, the world will be watching and waiting on the edge of their seats.
