Cybertruck Owner Reveals ‘Constant Harassment’ and Children Feeling Unsafe

It’s a pretty bold statement to purchase a Tesla Cybertruck. Staring at $82,000 with the price climbing significantly for premium editions. One such example is the Foundation Series – it’s not just a car. it’s way more than that – it’s a moving display of financial achievement.

However, opting for a golden variant steps things up another level. The snag – harsh criticism. Dr. Kumait Jaroje has spoken out on his very own experience, owning one himself. His challenges owning such an extravagant vehicle and the harassment he faces daily.

One is bound to draw attention to oneself if they’re driving around in a gold-plated Tesla Cybertruck. In Jaroje’s case, most haven’t been of a pleasant nature. When speaking with CBS News, he described his experiences as harassment. “Someone stuck an obscene sticker on my Cybertruck when I shared a photo of it on social media,” he said.

The sticker, which read “Nazis f**k off,” was first discovered by his wife and she was in distress. “She was horrified. She was, like, crying, screaming out of her throat, ‘I will never drive that Cybertruck anymore.’” He expressed genuine concern and feelings of being offended.

Since the incident, things have grown much worse. Jaroje explained how his specially plated golden cybertruck has put his family at risk. Claiming more aggressive harassment has ensued. “I feel anxious and nervous about our safety and my kids’ safety as well,” he said.

Things got even worse when Tesla CEO Elon Musk stood with Donald Trump, taking a government position as head of the Department of Government Efficiency. Jaroje remembers a rather harrowing experience: “Somebody tried to cut me off while I was driving with my kids. Three guys came out of the car, pointed the middle finger, and started screaming at me.

Jarojje believes that he is entitled to drive the golden Tesla Cybertruck as it represents his hard work and personal achievements, especially as an immigrant from Syria. He owns a successful medical spa and feels he has achieved the American Dream with hard work. “That’s why I came to this country. I pursued my dream. Now, I’m enjoying the free speech, but with this taking a different turn, that made me very concerned,” he explained.

Despite his concerns, reaching out about the issue with Tesla hasn’t been very fruitful for Jaroje, leaving him frustrated. When he reached out to Tesla, pleading with the company to swap out his golden Cybertruck for a less ostentatious model has gotten him nowhere. The Dr. was told that Tesla isn’t currently accepting trade-ins, leaving feel a lack of support, and  stuck without a solution.

Tesla owners are steadily facing more criticism than ever before, particularly after Elon Musk’s “Nazi gesture” while President Donald Trump was being inaugurated. Jaroje, however, believes the problem is much greater than his Cybertruck. “It’s not just about what happened to me. It’s about everyone in this country,” he said.

He sternly calls for greater empathy and understanding between communities. “If you disagree, don’t retaliate. Don’t be violent. Don’t try to hurt your neighbor. We’re all human.” He pleaded. Jaroje’s experience is a sobering reminder of the consequences one may face driving a Tesla Cybertruck in the current political environment.
