What you eat and drink plays a major role in your dental health. Highly acidic foods and beverages break down enamel over time. Citrus fruits, soda, coffee, and wine all contribute to this issue. Even healthy choices like oranges or tomatoes can harm your enamel if consumed in excess. The acids strip minerals from your teeth, making them weaker and more transparent.
