This Simple Test Will Tell You If You’re An Introvert

You might think you know the difference between introverts and extroverts: extroverts are talkative and outgoing while introverts are quiet and private. But, this just scratches the surface of the differences between them.

Extroverts tend to look at the outside world, while introverts are able to focus more. Introverts tend to recharge by spending time on their own, while extroverts get their groove back by spending time with others. Extroverts speak out more whereas introverts tend to listen more. Extroverts are the kind that are more likely to openly share opinions in work meetings, while introverts share their ideas when prompted to.

No personality is better than the other, just like any other human trait, they have their positives and negatives. But if you’re curious if you’re more of an introvert or an extrovert, here’s a quick visual test you can try.

Are You An Introvert or Extrovert?

These are timed tests, with those who take the shortest time being more introverted than extroverted.

1. Find the hidden croissant

introvert

2. Find the hot air balloon in the jellyfish

introvert

3. Now these next ones are a little tougher; find the button

introvert

4. Can you find the butterfly?

introvert

5. There’s a cup of coffee hidden in the sweets

introvert

6. Last one: where’s the turtle?

Check Your Results

If you found these tests easy and had no problem finding the hidden images (in other words, no more than 10 seconds for each challenge), it could mean that you’re an introvert. You have unique observation skills and are able to focus better than most.

If you were bored and became too impatient to finish, chances are you are an extrovert. But this doesn’t mean one is better than the other! You are so filled with confidence and are so self-assured (for good reason), that when you can’t solve problems right away, you get a little frustrated.

If you had trouble but still found all the images, you are most likely an ambivert – the best of both worlds! This is a rare personality type, and people who are ambiverts are able to adapt to almost any situation.
