Whether it’s because our favorite bars and pubs have been closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, or even if it’s just because you’re tired of paying so much money for a pint of beer, you’ve probably at one point thought: Wouldn’t it be nice to have a mini pub right here in my backyard?

This couple thought the same thing, and they followed through with a mini pub right in their back garden.

The Mini Pub that Feels Just Like the Real Thing

The Crabtree family was missing visits to their favorite neighborhood pub when they had the idea to construct one in their backyard. After a consultation with Amy of Octavia Chic, a design company, the plans were set in place.

After about three weeks, Amy, with the help of her husband, had completed The Drunken Crab, the Crabtree family’s very own mini garden pub.

Though the exterior is beautiful, complete with a sign and everything, it’s the inside that is jaw-dropping. Walking in, you feel just like you are in a classic British pub. It’s got a corner booth with old pictures and alcohol ads adorning the walls. It has another small table on the opposite side of the room, and the bar is tucked into the corner. They have a couple of beers on tap with glassware hanging above and liquor bottles lining the shelves. To top it off, they’ve got a dartboard and scoreboard to keep things lively.

The best part about this garden pub? Drinks are cheap and the walk home is just a few steps.
